Manuscript Types

IJIS exclusively accepts Original Research Articles that present original, significant, and methodologically rigorous contributions to legal scholarship, particularly in the fields of Legal Studies and Human Rights.

Submitted manuscripts may employ normative or doctrinal, empirical, socio-legal, comparative, or interdisciplinary legal research approaches. All research approaches must demonstrate methodological rigor, analytical depth, and a clear contribution to the advancement of legal knowledge.

Each manuscript must clearly identify the research problem, establish its scholarly contribution, explain the research methodology, and present findings supported by critical legal analysis, relevant evidence, and well-founded arguments.

IJIS does not accept review articles, book reviews, opinion papers, or manuscripts that merely describe legal provisions without substantial original analysis or meaningful scholarly contributions.

All submissions must comply with the journal's Author Guidelines, Publication Ethics, and Peer Review Policies to ensure academic integrity, research originality, and publication quality.
